An epic can be thought of as a bucket to put related work into. Epics let you track work as a group of issues, as well as down at the individual issue level.

In Waffle, "Parent" and "Child" are the keywords used to create epics. 

The Parent card is considered the epic card and will look like this:


Child issues are issues that belong to an epic and will look like this:
