Yes! You can add issues from other repositories in your dependency, as long as the other repositories are connected to your Waffle board.
For this example, "tifthedog/summerplans" is the main repository on the board and "tifthedog/blockparty" is a connected repository.
Use a cross-repository reference (read more on cross-repo references) to add an issue to a dependency that's in another repository. A cross-repository reference will look like this:
- blocked by username/repo#123
- requires username/repo#123
- depends on username/repo#123
In this example, issue #44 (created above) in the "tifthedog/summerplans" repository is blocking issue #2 in the tifthedog/blockparty repository, shown below.
